Vutore™ · Events is operated by Code After Dark LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Vutore™ · Events, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account (via Google, Apple, or email), we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture. This is provided by your authentication provider.
Event and photo data
We store the events you create (name, dates, settings) and the photos uploaded by you and your guests. Photos are stored on Cloudflare R2 and are automatically deleted after the retention period for your plan.
Guest data
Guests who join your event are identified only by an anonymous device token — we do not require them to provide a name, email, or any other personal information.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your card number or full payment details. We retain only the payment status and transaction identifiers needed to manage your events.
Support communications
If you contact us through the support form or by email, we store your message, email address, and any follow-up communications to resolve your request.
Technical data
We collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request details) and error reports to operate and improve the service. Error data is processed by Sentry.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Vutore™ · Events service
- To send transactional emails (event confirmations, support replies, payment receipts)
- To detect and prevent abuse or fraud
- To diagnose errors and improve reliability
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-party services
We rely on the following services to operate Vutore™ · Events. Each has its own privacy policy.

| Stripe | Payment processing |
| Cloudflare R2 | Photo storage |
| Mailgun | Transactional email delivery |
| Sentry | Error monitoring |

Data retention
Photos are deleted automatically at the end of your plan's retention period (1 month for the free tier, longer for paid plans). Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Your right to delete your data
Event owners
If you are an event owner, you can permanently delete an event from your event settings. This deletes:
- All photos, videos, thumbnails, and reactions for the event
- All guest information collected, including names and email addresses
- All event metadata, the QR code, and the event URL
- All notification subscriptions associated with the event
A 24-hour grace period allows you to cancel the deletion if you change your mind. You can also request immediate deletion for urgent GDPR erasure situations.
Retained for legal purposes: Payment and dispute records are retained in anonymized form as required by law. After deletion, these records contain only transaction details (date, amount, Stripe reference ID) — no personal information.
Backup retention: Deleted data may persist in database backups for up to 30 days as part of our standard backup policy.
Event attendees
If you are an event attendee and want your data removed from a specific event, please contact support@vutore.com with the event name or the QR code link. We will process your request within 30 days and provide a reference ID confirming the deletion.
