Photo sharing
without the app.
Every "shared album" dies the same death: half your guests won't install the app. Vutore™ works in the browser every phone already has — scan a QR code, start uploading. That's the entire onboarding.
Works on every iPhone and Android · Nothing to install
You've seen what happens when photo sharing needs an app
The text goes out: "Download this app so we can all share photos!" And then: your dad replies with a question mark. Your aunt's phone "doesn't have room." The college friends install it, post twice, and delete it. A third of the gallery you should have had simply never arrives — not because people didn't take photos, but because you put an app store between them and sharing.
Every required download is a toll booth. At a 100-person event, even a "good" install rate quietly costs you thousands of photos.
The browser is the app
Built for the guests who'd never install anything
Grandparents and great-aunts.
If they can scan the QR menu at a diner, they can join your gallery. The guests who surprise you most are often the oldest ones.
The "my storage is full" crowd.
Browser pages don't need 200MB free. Nothing to install means nothing to fail installing.
One-night strangers.
Plus-ones, vendors, the band — people who will never see you again won't install an app for you. They'll absolutely scan a code while waiting at the bar.
Kids' party parents.
Nobody wants to install an app at a bouncy-house birthday. Scan, upload, gone in 20 seconds.
Corporate guests.
Employees can't always install personal apps on work phones — and IT departments agree. Browsers pass where apps can't.
"But doesn't browser upload mean worse quality?"
No — photos upload at original resolution, and your download ZIP delivers exactly what the camera captured. The browser is the delivery route, not a compression step. Group chats compress your photos; Vutore™ doesn't.
"What about videos?"
Short videos upload right alongside photos, same browser flow. Toasts, first dances, the moment the cake goes sideways.
"And if the venue WiFi is terrible?"
Uploads queue on the guest's phone and retry automatically when signal returns. Stress-tested at a rural NJ barn wedding with one bar of service — every photo made it.

Questions, answered
The things people ask before they trust it.
How can guests share photos without downloading an app?
They scan your event's QR code with their phone camera, and the upload page opens in the browser — Safari, Chrome, whatever the phone has. They enter a name and start uploading immediately. No app store, no account, no password.
Does it work the same on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Both platforms scan QR codes natively with the camera and open the same browser upload page. There's no version mismatch, no "available on iOS first" — every phone gets the identical experience.
Do guests need to create an account or give an email?
No. Guests just type a display name so you know who shared what. Organizers can optionally enable email capture for guests who want a link to the gallery afterward — it's never required to upload.
Is browser upload slower or lower quality than an app?
Photos upload at original resolution and download the same way. On poor connections, uploads queue and retry automatically — the same resilience a native app would offer, without the install.
Can guests view the shared gallery without an app too?
Yes — the guest gallery runs in the browser as well. After one upload, guests can browse and heart everyone's photos from the same page they uploaded on.
Why do other photo sharing services require an app?
Mostly business model: apps enable push notifications, lock-in, and subscription upsells. Vutore™ charges flat per event, so we don't need to live on your guests' home screens — we just need their photos to reach your gallery.
Stop losing photos
to the app store
The best photo-sharing app is the one nobody has to install. Set up your event free and scan the code with your own phone — you'll get it in 30 seconds, and so will your guests.
